C230 Clear Floor Mats / Covers
Anybody have any clues where to get clear floor mats?
The dealership didn't have any... I have look on ebay, formymercedes.com... no luck..
I know the make exact-mats that are clear... may be aftermarket.
My interior is ash, and is getting increasingly hard to keep clean.
I'm not a big fan of the all-weather rubberized mats ... especially not for $$90+.
any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
thx

Yeah man, i had the same issue, i ordered some new amg mats, and went to Autozone and got some nice clear ones for like 11 bucks all four, they are really thin, but durable, and do the job, and you can still see my amg logos like nothing was there. stay up on them tho for they will start to yellow if you beat them up. but for 11 bucks, who cares. they work just fine.

Nope to be honest. But like i said, they look fine. they are clear and from the sides kinda have a blueish hue to them, so you cant miss them cuz they were the only ones that looked like that. I think that packaging was black and yellow.

yup i just went and snagged them at AutoZone for 11.99. I think the brand is called Valuecraft. I haven't put them on yet coz it's raining out here. I'm gonna clean the carpet and then put em on.
I will post some pics when i lay em down
they are vinyl.. hope it looks good when it's on

so i got these from Autozone.
Here are pics.
Few notes:-
Very cheap - $11.99
covers most of the carpet area... but is still wanting... the sides are still exposed.
doesn't look too bad.
Not the best option, but for the price, can't complain ... especially when you have an ash interior

i would have left it as it was. i dislike the clear covers. i just think they have a cheap feel to it. i dont mind dusting out my mats once in a while. but is it THAT noticable?

My car has black rubber mats, but our other car has a really light interior color. Once, it gets dirty, its not as simple as just dusting it. you have to wash it or get it shampood. I would be safe if you had a light interior and have clear mats or rubber mats.

exactly, dude the ash is a bytch to clean ! and not as easy as dusting them off. But like the man said, for 12 buck protection, and its not like anyone is going to be seeing the mats while your driving, and when i go to shows, i just take them out and throw them in the trunk. Simple solution to an annoying problem.

I second that. Cheap solution to an annoying problem.
And this ash interior gets dirty real quick too. I had a beige interior on my Land ROver before, and it didn't get nearly as dirty.
My gf saw the mats this weekend and said it makes the car look cheap from the inside... whevathe****.
I may have to improvise here.
