I am getting one made and have the same color car. I have 17 percent tint on the sides so its basically black. I know white looks good against the black but I how a white decal would look with the silver car paint.

would a silver decal look better?
I have a white decal and I chose white because I wanted it to stand out more. I guess it all depends on what decal it is.

Those last few pictures did come out pretty good. The front doesn't look so awkward in any of them. However, I still say sideskirts or ban.

The new pictures look great! Your car is very clean. I know that you cannot get the sideskirts now, but once you get them it will be super clean!

Bye Bye Front Plate

So, I took the front plate off today...looks so much cleaner.

What would be the best thing to say to the officer if I got pulled over for it? I'm thinking that I'm just going to say that it fell off and the plate bracket got destroyed, and I'm waiting for the new one.

take the plate and hit it with the hammer a few time and bent it and makes it look like you've had an accident with it before. just keep it in the car with you.

+1.

I may loan you the money just so that you can get the rest of the kit on there ASAP haha. Or I may just keep it and buy coilovers for myself. Probably the latter.

Anyways, I still think you should bore out where the screws are in your license plate holder and just keep it with you. That way it looks like it came loose and you can't put it back on. Damn, now you have me wanting to lose the front plate (mines all smashed up anyways).

Here in RI, it's a law that you have to have a front plate, but I haven't installed mine yet. My car came from California, so they never installed the front bracket for the plate. WOoo hoo !!

What I've done is grabbed one of those clear plastic baggies the paper boys put your newspaper in when it's raining out, slid my plate in it, and keep in inside my car in the door map pocket. During the day, if I'm driving in a "cop zone" or downtown/big city, I'll grab the plate and place it between the dash and windshield, where the VIN is. That way, it's visible. I've heard many people get away with this if they're pulled over. Haven't gotten pulled over yet, so I don't know if it'll work. If it doesn't, I'll just tell them I just bought the car from Cali and I'm waiting for them to ship the bracket to me.

Tails and Decals!

So, some of you might remember how I screwed up on the vinyl overlays on my taillights, and there were tons of wrinkles? Well I finally got fed up with it and tinted my tails over again with VHT Nite Shades. Here are the results:
