2005 C240
TopSpeed!!!!
Ok here goes nothing i have a 2005 C240...i was on my way back from VA beach on 64 and i swear on my electronic and regular speedometer it read 149MPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i thought top on the car was 130 or 120...is my car chiped?

No not here, I'm talking about European spec'd cars in Europe. It's not just Benz's it's ALL European spec'd cars, they are just fast. I believe they're geared differently over there and most don't have a gov. to restrict speed.

oh ya thats true the ford falcon has 300hp its not even allowed in the U.S...but no limiter mostly stick U.S...i thought u were saying our european cars would get spanked on the highway by stock hondas and stuff

Hmm, 149mph - that seems pretty fast for the C240 - considering the limiter should have kicked in at 130MPH - I know some have reached 135MPH and that's understandable, but 140, then 145, then 149, hmm.. Well, was the car stable? Do you have stock parts - i.e. wheels?

over 100 on 64? I was in VA Beech last weekend and too many cops out there for that crap. Hell I worked in Norfolk for a couple of month b4 and NEVER drove anywhere near that fast. And this is coming form a guy that made it from Silver Spring, MD to Bridgeport, CT in just under 3 hours.

No way. Youve got the speedo reading in KPH, those big rims have got electric motors in them, or your full of it. No chip is gonna give you 150MPH.
I've driven the mighty C240 and its rumbling 2.6L mouse motor many times. 168 ponies isn't gonna cut it.
