Have you spoken to your mom about the liability as mentioned earlier in this thread? I think liability alone is enough to stop them from using the car, not just getting a curbed rim.

for my in San Jose they do because their parking lot is tight so they have to row and lineup all the car together, instead of self park with big open space

As C240STYLE said, there is something missing in this story. Having lived here my entire life, I realize how California has become the Peoples Socialist Republic Of California, but this is just a little to much "collective society" to be believable. Do you and Mommy live on a commune? Is there now just one car shared amongst multiple families? Do you all take turns with the plow Ox?

BrabusX2, please tell us why Mom has been so sharing with the Benz. Are these neighbors REALLY good friends? Why do they have priority over you? Why aren't you taking the advise of posters here, and asking for the key back or putting the car on jack stands? Does your family really understand the liability issues?

yes, my neighbor are really good friend with my mom, maybe because they are both speak the same language?? but she always come over my house and talk from day to night, i am thinking if they called themselve "sisters" or whatever, but trust me, i will disconnect the battery.....


as for the benz, we lend it out because she think the car is cheap, cheaper than a corolla, so my mom think is not my a deal at all... but i have no idea what will she do if they really got into accident and sue us....

That is another piece of advise you need to consider. I think you may sabotage your computers if you do that. Call the dealer and ask them if you can just disconnect and get away without any problems.

What is the purpose of this thread really? It sounds like you are making this whole story up or something for some reason. Maybe you curbed your own rims and now trying to let everyone know it wasn't you and was your may-not-be- existing neighbor's kid? Or no rims were every curbed but you just threw the story in to make sure we all agree that your neighbor's kid is gonna F*** your car up? Well thats only if it was true that your mom was kind enough to let anyone drive *the car she pays for*. By the way, where is the pic of your curbed rims regardless of who did it.

I am sorry if I offended you, but this whole story just sound too crazy to me. How can the other family not have a spare car for their kid to drive and have to ask your mom for yours? Makes absolute zero sense.
