Need Some Help.....

I'm getting ready to get a new set of rims because I'm getting tired of looking at these stock 17's. I really have my eye on this set of 19's that I found on tirerack.com.

Sorry for the long URL, but they are the bright satin ones with machined lip that I want. What I am wondering is about the ride height on these and if it is possible to do a coil cut on the stock ride of the car. Does anyone know of any good tires that I can get on these that wouldnt be too expensive, I sorta am on a budget.

The link doesn't work. You can try General UHP tires. GL

Sorry, the rims are ASA ST4 Sport Editions. They are the Bright Satin finish with machined lip, I tried to put the link in but for some reason it does not go directly to the page I want it too. Tell me what you guys think. I do have a pewte silver C230 and I think the color combo with the wheels just looks excellent, but I am concerned about ride hight, and if it is possible to lower w/o upgrading to an H&R kit and so on.

What do you drive? You should update your profile!

I think it'll look fine if you have +05 SS with 19s without lowering your car. If you own a pre 05,then definitely should do lowering, don't wanna drive a 'Cuv'

you should ask on the Tire, wheel, suspension forum here on MBW. There are people from tire rack that can help you with fitment and suggest tires.

e1000 the TSW Bremmas that you have on your C are the same style that I wanna get ASA's, except for the color of the face of the rim will match my pewter silver car. I have a 2004.5 C230, and I was looking at how the car looks today with the rims and I dont think it would look that bad w/o lowering. What do you guys think of a 1/2 coil cut on on the front of the stock suspension, would that be really bad for the ride and life of the car? Or maybe just swap the I4 engine with a V-8 and hopefully that'll weight down the front to the ride height that I want

lol Nibo83 yeah I'm about to update the profile right now. The CEL magnet was because of my frustration with the MB dealer and them trying to diagnose why my CEL was on. They change the O2 sensor twice, a whole new wire harness, and Cylinder head. There might have been something else too, but I dont remember. It was a nightmare, car was in and out of the dealer for 2 and 1/2 weeks straight.

hahha - go for the V8 option!!! You could also look into getting the stock 2005+ sport springs as they are much lower. The pics of my car are all with stock springs.
