Fog light wiring is not complete yet. But I plan to use the bumper side markers as the "city light" low power fogs. (High intensity LED H3 bulb). And the normal for light switch for the 6000k HIDs.

Now I gotta figure out if I want the HID's on the outside or inside... Might do them on the inside.

Yeah, bumper is the one on my sig. Non-AMG sport with add on Rieger lip.

Got the bumper with most of the others on the forum as a group buy months ago. I think it's $650 retail.

Ah, I didn't even think about that. That's a great idea, especially since the bumper already has impact strips integrated as part of the bumper and you lost the sidemarkers anyway. It's a good way to make usage of the sidemarker wiring. Are you sure that it can handle the wattage though? The wires are made to identify different draw in power and since those wires are made to detect a w5w bulb, how do you plan on getting around any possible "bulb out" warning? You'd have to get the exact resistor not only to run LED bulbs, but also possibly need to use a relay of some sort.

Since you shared your wiring plan, I'll share mine. I'm going to wire one set with the OEM foglight wiring and have the 2nd set of fogs wired to a seperate trigger (I've got an extra PIAA lighting button/trigger sitting around).

Main reason for my wanting the 2nd trigger is due to the regulations in California. The basic rule is that you can have 2 sets of lights (i.e. headlamp assembly and fog lights) turned on at one time. If lights are integrated into one housing (ala the w203 headlamps), the lights in the housing are considered one lamp (i.e. parking light and headlight are considered 1 light). Vehicles can have additional sets of lights mounted on the car, however, they cannot all be on at the same time.

CA regulations?! Does that also mean you'll be drilling into your new front bumper to put the plate required by CA regulations?

LOL...Well, it all depends if I can manage to actually get it. Running into some snags, but hopefully that's just a time set back. I waited 4 months for my rims, so I'm prepared to wait just as long for my kit.

Um, no, front plate will be zip tie. That's my favorite mounting style!

I think it would look awesome if you put an AMG rear bumper on. I am not feeling that rear bumper add on.

WOW...

That's a front kit that I really like. The Quad fogs are something that I never really would get used to, but the bumper itself is beautiful.

BlackC230Coupe/ TruTaing: I wish there was a DTM style ream bumper for the C like the DTM Black series. I may have to fabricate something like it... Maybe next project. Not going to do the C55 AMG rear.

Definitley going to try not to put the tags on the front. It's illegal not to have them in MD but I'll keep the plates in my car and tell cops I'm waiting for the dealer to order me a bracket or something...

dstylezs: I don't have a shop but I do work on my car alot. I'm friends with an ex-RennTech technician now at Kleeman. I call him when I have a question.

drexappeal: good luck with your quad fog set-up, I like your ideas. I will run load equalizers to avoid computer errors.

Just got the 6000k fogs on and LED fogs. What do you all think.

https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/198918-6000k-high-intensity-led-fogs-installed.html

LED fogs wired through bumper light wiring (not used) and 6000k fogs use same MB fog wiring.

That looks very clean and I love the quad fog lights. I want to get the same front bumper but I dont like the rear bumper which comes with the kit. What kind of rear bumper do you have? Stock or aftermarket?
