are you kidding? I regularly step into one right after picking up the rental on the way from the airport whenever I get home on vacation. I get so carried away everytime with the newfound freedom that I fail to notice speed limits when they are posted. It's not a free-for-all but fact is, there's no general speed limit, only a recommendation of 130 km/h on the Autobahn. But where needed, speed limits are imposed to reign in the wannabe Schumachers, Frentzens, and Stucks.

Yeah some of the Autobahns are too congested or old to handle no speed limit. But still most of them we drove didnt have a speed limit for all of us wannabe Hakkinens and Raikkonens.

In Sweden I would say 50% of all taxis are W210 wagons. I've seen two W203 two W211 and three W220 taxis sofar - and I don't travel alot by taxi....

Those E-class cars are heavily decontented (compared to what they send to the US), yet - comfortable and durable... Usually with lo-end diesel or gasoline engines, e.g. C200K. Yes, they ARE available in configurations like that. Just not in the US. Remember, in Germany MB is a domestic brand, and they are widely used as fleet vehicles.
