There are two adapters. One for the 01-04 and one for the 05+ you need the PIONEER CA-R-PI.133 I believe

Do they have a Bluetooth phone kit for it? And will it work with the steering wheel controls.

My car didnt come with the bose system, so I never looked in to it.

If I remember correctly, you need to bypass the amp in the trunk. Try doing a search. I dont think that it is all that difficult to do the bypass.

AVIC D3 with compatible Steering Wheel Controls?

I can't find any info on steering wheel adapters compatible with the 2006+

I'm looking at installing the AVIC D-3 with the iPod a C230 2006, there are many steering wheel adapters but I just can't confirm that they work with the 2006 and newer models.

Crutchfield sells this: PAC SWI-PS - Pioneer and Sony (manufacturer's site www.pac-audio.com)

There is this PIONEER CA-R-PI.131 as well but it doesn't say that it's compatible with the 2006.

If someone ever finds a Steering Wheel adapter for the AVIC D-3 that is compatible with the 2006 C230 please let me know.

All I want is to be able to control iPod playlists, change to CD, DVD or/and Navigation and control volume with the steering wheel on a C230 2006 with the AVIC D3.

By the way, I went to the local dealer that installs super high quality stereos and they said that the AVIC D3 would not fit on a 2006. Huh??

Thanks bro. I didnt want to change to look of the bix drastically. The silver, IMO is different, yet still classy.

And I had Silver paint left over from painting the body kit.

I got a call from them a few days ago. They said the springs are ready, and only have a few.
So, I am going to order mine today

No, nothing special. Try messing with the connections. maybe it isn't in fully.

Thanks for the reply. I just had it completely apart yesterday to finish the bypass(forgot to ground the wire from the D3) and all of the connections seem snug.
