Thanks Mike.

I like it a lot better than the comand. You have a lot of options with the Avic as opposed to the comand. I've only used the navi once on the avic and it is pretty accurate. Entering addresses is easier with the touch screen and you can search for points of interests by phone numbers.

All in all it is a better system than the comand IMO, and for the money you cant go wrong.

You need the PIONEER CA-R-PI.131 STEERING WHEEL CONTROLLER to control the HU.

I think that your car would look sick with the color matched headlights because the color is so unique.

Maybe it's me, but I don't think I'd even notice that they were colormatched on a silver car unless you told me. Though I bow to the effort!

Maybe it's just me, but I still think the orig. black looks better. The color match looks really clean and all but I just prefer the black.

Nice job though! Car looks good!

Looks good. I've been wanting to do the black housing, but still don't have the time to do it. I'm wondering, once you opened the headlight, and put them back, will we have issues with the focus of the headlight? or we have to do some adjustment?

Just came back from a drive. As far as I could tell there is absolutely no difference in the light output.

Thanks for the follow up. Do you have any tips on things to watch out for when I open the headlight? I did my buddy's tacoma headlight last month and it was not bad at all. I'm talking about the bix components. Thanks again.

Its not that much different than any other headlight. You wont even touch the projector. Once you remove the lens the chrome surround is held by two torx screws and some clips. You will need to remove some of the glue around the area to remove it.

The "chrome" is actually a very thin layer of paint, it scratches easily and peels right off if you place masking tape over it. I used the Blue painters tape, since I ran out of the green automotive tape. I am not sure it the paint will peel with that tape or not.

I took some picture of the process and I am currently working on a DIY for this and to replace the igniter.

Thanks.

Yes, I got tired of looking at brown wood so I decided to painted all the wood trim in the car "Lexus black" including the area around the door handle.

Good move

Something just doesn't fit right in my mind about having a SPORT SEDAN with wood trim interior.
Leave that stuff in the forest or in the S-Class !
