That's a good thing, now you can get the newer model... My kids break them every two years or so but the picture quality (color accuracy, noise reduction), megapixels, ISO settings keeps going up and new features like anti-shake, bigger optical zooms makes having an excuse for a new one a good thing.

I can get a new digital camera now for $100-200 that blows away my $600 camera from a few years ago. What's been a great little camera for us is the Pentax W10/W20. It's waterproof/dustproof so you don't have to worry about getting it wet or dirty and it takes great pics., even under water. I just wash the camera in the sink when it gets dirty. With Canon, I had them deny 2 warranty claims because of humidity damage, what, you can't use their cameras in humid cities, no more Canon's for me.

There are some pics on page 6 on my Hawaii website - http://www.buellwinkle.com/hawaii/

I found a different cheap kit that seemed to have better feedback, and they actually ship the exact kit that's in the picture. The ignitor is integrated into the ballast (unlike my last McCulloch kit), which is nice, but the ballast is just a little on the big side.

And before people blast me thinking I am an eBay seller, I am not. I am a newbie to this site, as I just bought my 04 C230 Sedan Jan 31. I posted once about MTEC bulbs that I bought and liked (1/3 of the price of PIAA's and Raybrigs), and I got blasted because people thought I was an eBay seller.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lumen...spagenameZWDVW

I bought a "Lumenux" 8000K HID kit off eBay for my W203 in February, and haven't had any problems with them. I'll post pics once I have my Depo's installed next weekend. They ship from Hong Kong, and the bulbs are advertised as being made in Japan, but I think they are made in Korea, which is at least a big step up in quality from being made in China. These are advertised as having "smart ballasts" don't won't set off the headlight error. I had a headlight error pop up on me 2 different times the 1st week the kit was installed, but NO flickering ever. I just pulled over, turned off my car, turned it back on, and the error was gone. I haven't had an error message in 2 months now.

I paid $180 shipped with express shipping (EMS from Hong Kong). Got the kit in 3 days.
I found the same kit here for $129.00 + $30.00 shipping. Are you still receiving any problems? I never messed around with after market lights but I want to upgrade to HIDs. Is this a good choice or should I go with a more upscale product? Please send me links.

I think that this kit is one of the better cheap kits. I bought them off eBay, and the seller at amazon.com called "car-gym" is the same guy(company out of Hong Kong). If you don't pay for express shipping from them, I heard shipping takes 2-3 weeks. The other seller seems to be out of New York, and shipping is much cheaper, but he has no feedback.

Check on other site grasshoppah...
relay make install safer, but create more work.
Though many have few complaints without it, while others have many.
You must choose the path grasshoppaaaaaahhhhhh.

It will give you an idea how to go about it. This is on a 211 but yours should be similar. Hopefully you will not be more confused after looking at it. Mine is still working without a problem even with the wife using the DRL function. But your results may vary.

The kit I got was virtually plug-n-play (except for drilling a hole threw the headlamp to get the wires threw).

4 wheeled car.
I got my H3 kit for the fogs on my 2000 E55 AMG. Plug and play, no errors. RARELY, it will flicker on one side or the other not sure, for 2 secs upon startup. but it hasnt been doing that since I had it done a week ago.

anyway, here's a video

Is this Depo Projectors or another "fake" Depo headlights?

last week I saw a depo projectors listing in ebay for 369. Today, I saw there is an depo look-alike projectors which cost about 279. Is it depo?

Most likely they are depos. I've never seen any other brand that makes the headlights that look like bix. All of the other brands have theirs looking like the W211 lights.

I saw those too on eBay when I was shopping for Depo's. I emailed the seller, and asked him if they were Depo brand, and his reply was they are unknown aftermarket brand.

I ended up ordering mine elsewhere because I didn't want to take a chance.

Depo is not visible on the exterior box, nor the individual interior boxes. There are a few small stickers on the exterior box that have "MBZ-00WCZ" and "C Class 00-02" or something to that effect. Obviously the years on the sticker are off. The headlights come packed quite well. The only way to know if they are "genuine" Depo's is on the lens. Depo is stamped on the bottom part of both lenses, along with E4, which I believe is the equivilant of the DOT in the US in Europe.

Can you buy just the LH side depo ?

I managed to melt the LH side Depo while I was retrofiting HID projectors into them

Does anyone know if you can get the LH side Depo assembly by itself ... I have tried email a few places.

Any ideas so I don't have to fork out for a new pair

Thats where I got them from in the first place ...... excellent place to deal with for getting stuff shipped quickly with great service.

I have sent them an email and am hoping they can help me.

Still can't believe I managed to destroy the LH side, after I had finished the RH side with no hassle......hehe

just wanted to add that this kit is a good deal. Bought the H7 6000k kit on ebay for 102.99, It was delivered to my door in 2 days, installed it in a half hour and it makes one hell of a difference, Quality the lights are awesome, the kit is made a bit cheaply but its the lights I care about and they look awesome. No issues at all right now. 102 dollars well spent if you ask me.

Also, no error mesages (2000 e320)

Depo LED Tail Light

I had heard that Depo made an LED tail light, and I assumed they looked like the S-Class style made by Eagle Eyes. I just saw a picture on eBay, and the Depo LED Tails look just like the original C Class tail lights. I like the look of the original C Class tails better than the S-Class Style. Man, and I just bought the Eagle Eyes tails 2 weeks ago...

I wonder if the Depo LED's will last longer than the Eagle Eyes LED's....
