MOISTURE in DEPO Projectors housing headlights
To all DEPO Projector Headlight owners
Did anyone ever had a problem with water and moisture inside their DEPO housing headlights after it rains?

DEPO Projector headlights!
anything I should know about these Headlights before I purchase them for my C230? I'm buying them in chrome housing. What's the best price I can get them for? Are there any other projectors I can get that are of quality? Where?
Thanks guys!

hehe. How is the light output? The "neatness" of the cut off line it has?
Any suggestions if you had any? Or any opinions?
I really dont want to spend 3 bills and come to find out it wasn't worth the cost.

If your scared to spend 300 dollars on a rep of the real thing then don't. Go take your money and buy the real thing used for 1200+ or new for $$$$... The light output isn't gonna be the same as the real oems. But if your a college student working full time i believe the depos and a set of HIDs are okay with me.

A box on 4 wheels
Just saw a Depo W203 headlight installed a week ago, I didn't get the chance to snap some shots but it seems the overall quality of the projector lens has gone up. The output seems much neater with less blind spots on the floor , but still needs improvement IMO.

I have a set. They are definitely cheap quality, but if you flip the bulb 180 degrees as described in this thread, with an hid kit it's not terrible has a decent cutoff and overall is a stepup from oem

hi, I bought a pair of blac depos. I ve read many bad things about them but at only 120 euros (auction) there where a smart buy I think. I ve also put a decent hid Kit.
Questions :1
1. Trying to adjust them I overdid it with the higher black screw (on both the headlights) there was a cracking noise and the projector returned to its original position. Any ideas on how to fix that? the screws simply do not wwork anymore
2. I ve put my hand through the high beam hole and noticed that I can grab the whole light body and move it towards right or left. Has it anything to do that with my number 1 question?
3. Has anyone tried depos with the mtec hid kits. I mean does the beam pattern gets any better with a "quality" hid kit?

1. I'm pretty sure you need to open up your headlights and fix the tap that went out of place since you over did it. I know this because I overdid mine and my shop fixed it in 3 mins after they opened up my headlights.
2. I'd say, YES!
3. I had DEPO on my C years ago with ProLumen HID kit and the beam pattern was horrible, but I didn't know if flipping the bulb 180' would've helped tho,so never tried it and already sold my pair before knowing it.

My shop that specializes in projectors and lighting in Jakarta did it for me. They install these projectors in my OEM clear headlights, no cutting/damaging the headlights, can be reversed at any time. DIY? Hmm if you have all the tool, understand wiring and are a handy guy, then yes. You should talk to retrofit experts on this forum like Temjin for more info. They retrofitted their headlights themselves.

I have the same problem. It's because it's poorly made, and breaks VERRY easy if you overturn it too much. You'll just have to deal with it, or retrofit better projectors.
