How to remove rear taillights
Duz anyone no how 2 remove deez tail lights? Eye wanna replacem wit sum S class style tail lights from ebay. and maybe smokem 2. Step by step instructions would be gr8. Hope 2 here from u soon.

I'm going to install some 2005+ taillights on my wife's C320 SS next week.

Thank you very much Carlos, your help and generosity in this matter will not be overlooked. I had indeed searched for comprehensive information vis-à-vis this subject matter several times, but did not come up with any accommodating instructions. I was then resolute to post a topic in search for an answer.

This is probably one of the easiest DIY's out there. Nobody has done a DIY cuz it's just that easy.
When you get your s-class taillights, you'll se the 3 mounting screws. I believe the screws are hex screws, but just can't remember exact size.
Other than that, it's as easy as open liner cover for taillights, unscrew bolts, take off connector, pull OEM taillights out, put new taillights in, re-screw.
Carlos, if you want to DIY a taillight removal, that would be very helpful. You have permission to start a new thread with that and I'll add it to the sticky. When it comes down to it, I was just too lazy to do a DIY thread...LOL.

When you get your s-class lights, please clearify if they are '05+ compatible? All the lights I've seen/heard of so far are for pre-05, which has a different wiring harness.

You have to change the pin connectors in order to use the S-Class taillights. No other way to do it.
