If it's a coupe, try moving the seat forward, as if you were gonna get in the back seat. Then push it back where it's supposed to be. My headrest wouldn't go down or up the day I brought mine home because the seat wasn't fully "locked".

Blown 30A fuse (Green); happened to the Mrs commute car... there is a fuse/relay/breaker service panel inside the trunk on the left hand side, first you'd need to pry out the outer access cover by hand to expose the panel then pull the actual cover out, fuse puller should be affix to this cover.
You'd be looking for the very top 30A fuse, the one below it is for seat recline.
Hope this helps.

It's working now.
Thanks all for the valuable feedback.
I had to reset the seat.
Thank you diamondblak05 for the Link.

Had a failed computer with another Mercedes-Benz car in the garage. Try holding the power seat button to make the lower seat cushion to go forward. Don't release the switch after the seat stops, continue holding the button in the same fashion for another 10 seconds. This resets the computer. This isn't supposed to remedy your situation but it might help.
Sometimes, the oddest things can be fixed with a quick resynchronization.

Easy Entry Seats
2002 C230 Coupe with the convenience feature. Battery was replaced last month, and since then the seats will not move foward/back when I start/turn off the car. Convenience feature is set to steering wheel and seat, but only the steering wheel moves. I tried to move the seat to full tilt on each axis several times, but still no luck. Suggestions?

Try a fuse. that happened to me. Lost the drivers seat and steering column adjustments. Seems it was only a fuse.

Seat computer reset worked for me and fixed my easy entry/exit issue. My seat would not back up when key removed, but steering wheel would. (2005 C55)
Perform while outside vehicle with drivers door open:
1. Turn key to "ON" position 2 (right before start)
2. Press bottom seat cushion button forward, once seat reaches the full forward position, continue to hold for 10 seconds. Then release button. (I heard a reset click after 10 seconds, I assume meant it reset)
3. Hit seat memory button you have your settings set to and allow it to adjust to set position.
4. Get in car while seat is in your set driving position, close door, then turn key to off position and remove. (your seat and steering wheel should now adjust to the exit position setting)
Seat should now work with the easy entry/exit feature again.

Yes ~ early iterations of this system used to loose their memory & parameters fairly frequently requiring reset & relearning.

Are you supposed to hold the bottom seat cushion (only) forward for about 10 seconds after it reaches the full forward position, or the whole seat?
