Eibach Alignment Kit ?
I finally got my car lower today (thx Buellwinkle I got it from D2 nice price!) and I was reading from eibach it says
After the installation of either an Eibach Pro-Kit or Sportline spring set, a vehicle's alignment should always be checked. Once lowered, a wheel's camber may become "increasingly negative", meaning the top of the tire is angled inward (toward the center of the vehicle). While some "negative" camber aids in improving traction and road adhesion, too much can result in peculiar handling and accelerated tire wear.
Eibach offers a complete range of alignment kits which offer a simple, affordable solution to adjust "negative camber". These alignment kits not only assist in adjusting a vehicle's camber back to factory specifications but they also allow the experienced chassis tuner to utilize the increased adjustment range to "dial-in" a performance alignment that uses negative camber to maximize a chassis' potential. Turn-in becomes more precise and handling increasingly crisp and predictable. High-speed stability is also enhanced making an alignment kit from Eibach almost a necessity for the serious performance tuner.
Question is does anyone know where I can find a place that has Eibach Alignment Kit? I speek to D2 people they said not to worry about it but from my pass exp I know that my tire will die fast since from just looking I can tell it has the "negative" camber eibach was talking about and I really love to have it fix up right... so if anyone who know some place in CA they can fix this please let me know =D

Increase your toe-in and inflate your tires well beyond factory recommended and you should have no excessive wear AND be able to enjoy better handling.
A good alingment shop can do all of that.
On the other hand, if you really want it back to factory specs (zero degrees camber), you can try to use factory "crash bolts". These are staggered control arm axles that enduce about 1/2 degree POSITIVE camber. Again, a good alignment shop can do this, too.
With the geometry of the W203 suspension and the modest drop of Eibach's, your new springs probably induced less than a degree of camber. I would try to keep it....its a performance enhancer, just get the toe and pressure set right (and watch the pressure) and enjoy!

How much of a suspension drop can you go before you have to start adjusting for alignment(camber, etc)? It seems like 2" is the magic number - more than 2" yes and less than 2" most likely no. What has everyone been doing?

Can I know how much is the cost of the spring+installation?
I was quoted by D2 around $380,- for either H&R or Eibach
I know there is somebody who could get like $330 for the spring and installation
Secondly, if i just change the spring, how long will my stock shock last?

patronus thx! but not all car can do that like my last car it can't be done so thats why I was hopeing if that happen I can do it with the Alignment Kit eibach they talk about heres a pic of the kit on the site
Most of your answer can be find at www.eibach.com heres what they say
All Eibach Pro-Kits are engineered to perform in harmony with the original damper of the special vehicle - take for granted a good working condition. All TÜV approvals in Germany certify the combination of the Pro-Kit with an OEM shock.
I like eibach the best cause they are not too hard doing the normal ride, With the 18" wheel I got if I go with hard spring I think I will kill my self, they are almost like the OEM spring when you drive around .. run over speed bump stuff like that but when you want to go fast on free way or make a sharp turn then u start to see the diff =) well it does not work as good as those really stiff springs when u make a sharp turn but it does improve ALOT from OEM one.. =)

Thanks

I like it better with the lorinser cap. It looks like replicas if you put the benz cap on. In my opinion.
when you buy replicas they all come with the benz star.

i have 4,000 miles on my C230 and i see terrible inner wear on my rear tires. I had my car alligned after i had the springs installed but i got my #1 spring pads put on the rear and did not have it alligned again, but the way it looks i will need to and i am sure they will say i need a camber kit even though there is none, when i also had my car alligned after the springs they had to replace the bushings because he said there was some negitive camber.
