i went to the dealer to trade in my c230k coupe 2005 for the 350ZNismo and they offerd me 20,000 for my coupe with 37,000 miles fully loaded BEST condition and the Nimso was going for 40,000.. good deal but i changed my mind i love my coupe so im gonna keep it and ship it to Greece in afew months. and im thinking of getting the new Evo X or the 3.2
audi TT s package.
What is the estimated price of a certified 2005+ with low mileage..?

Found a black C230 with 8k miles for $27.000.. MB of South Atlanta. I thinking that the price would be no more than $25.000

I have an '03 c230 Sedan, 6 speed manual. Yeah, it does have some electrical problems. But I love the car.
Electrical Issues: For instance, I have a sunroof issue. A few times my sunroof wouldn't go all the way back. Turning off the car, then turning it back on fixed it. Also, when the temperature drops a LOT I do get some electrical issues, but I've found this to happen to other (different) cars as well.
P.S. I almost bought a c240. This was when I had very limited knowledge of Mercedes, especially the C class. The c240 has a v6, with 168hp. The 2003-2005 c230 has a supercharged 4cyl , with 189 hp. Depends on what you want out of your car...

w203: These are C class cars from 2001-2007. 2008 began with the new w204's.
The 2006's V6 is 201 hp, 181 lb torque, while the 2003-2005's SC 4 is 189 hp, 192 lb torque. Not a huge difference, but I've heard that in the real world it is faster...
As far as the electrical problems, I'm not sure which year has worse problems. But even Mercedes' from other classes have electrical issues.
Are you looking for an automatic or manual transmission?

I prefer automatic..
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Good thing about the automatic tranmission is that it's adaptive. It adapts to the drivers style. If you stomp on the pedal a lot, it will learn that, and the throttle will be more responsive.
If you really want to buy cheap, you need to look at all the numbers, gas, insurance, repairs, possible upgrades... If you really want to buy cheap, cought up the extra bucks to buy a nice car to make sure you stay away from expensive repairs. There are probably cheaper luxury cars to own than a mercedes, but if you like MB then go for it!
SC is probably cheaper on gas. I get about 18l/100km city and 8.5l/100km highway (120-130km/h); possibly cheaper on insurance as well. Repairs? No idea.

and I agree with m a t h i e u. Look at insurance costs etc. If you can get the car cheaper, you can have extra $$ for repairs, mods, gas, milk, etc...lol...
I posted a diy on the c32 sub forums to fix the problem.
If your a diy, then it shouldn't be a problem, if not i would recommend extended warranty.
The V-6 C230 models were tuned a bit more for luxury. Quieter exhaust and slightly softer suspension. This engine was offered in 2006-2007.
The supercharged C230k models were tuned a bit more for sport. Sport exhaust and sport suspension are the norm here. The 2004.5 and 2005 models were generally considered the best of this series. These supercharged versions have a little more power (real world) and use less fuel than the V-6 versions. A manual transmission makes it a lot of fun.
I would drive an example of each of the above two styles, and see which one is more to your liking.
