C230K is a wet dog
Wierd title to get your attention, and now that I got it let me describe my problem.
Last few days I have been noticing that whenver I stop at a signal immediately after taking an exit off freeway (In other words, coming to a stop after driving at high speeds) the whole car shudders. Ever seen a dog that just got wet shake itself ? That is exactly how my car is behaving, although it does not shake that long... only for a second or two. The engine sound a bit loud when this happens. Is this an indication of something that is about to break down or just normal suspension creaks that shake the car.
PS: I am checking my account balance to see if I have any money. Every time I started a thread on this forum to ask a question, I ended up spending $500 - 1000 on repairs.

I know that my car has a bad motor mounts... it usually sounds like an old diesel truck and I can feel a slight, ever so negligible, jerk when the gear shifts. Could the shudder be because of bad mounts?

Just some clarifications first. Does it shake "while" it's coming to a stop or after the car is "completely" stopped?
"while" stopping - these would be my questions: Brakes good? Last time shocks were changed? Any noises from the engine bay?
"Completely" stopped - Last time Oil was changed? Last time filter was changed? All the hoses connected properly? Last time spark plugs were changed?

How violent is the shaking? If it's temporary and non-violent shaking, it could be just the air conditioniner or brake pump (you do live in Arizona where it gets rather warm).
Any additional sorts of sounds? Clicking/buzzing/gurgling sounds you can remember? Are you sure it's the engine making the sounds? If it's the engine, the RPM should rise/dip a little bit. If it's just the radiator fan, then you should be alright.

Except shocks, everything you mentioned have been changed recently. The shake is not continuous... it only lasts for a second or two and otherwise it is very quiet.
The shake is just enough for you to notice and as I mentioned occurs only for a second or two. No other noises from the engine when at rest and the RPM doesn't change either.
It doesn't happen all the time though... only three times in the last one week but I am planning to take it to a mechanic this weekend to get it checked. The supercharger also makes excessive noise between 40 - 60 mph (sounds like a blender... actually my car sounds like verything but a car), so might be some major problem or might be nothing at all. Will update you guys once I find out more info.
PS: Just remembered that my brothers Acura also does the same and more frequently at idle. But it is not as noticeable as it is in my car.

The wonderfull PCV hose or maybe the brake booster or lines going to it. It would cause a vacume leak that would give you that kind of idle problem. That is what mine did at first when the PCV hose started to leak. Then it got worse before the engine light finally came on.

i suggest taking it to the dealer immediately. that exact same thing happened to me two weeks ago. all of a sudden it got worse. check engine light came on and the car started stalling at red light/stop signs. apparently some vacuum hose broke. seems like A LOT of people are getting this same problem within the past month. unlike everyone else, it started shaking during my lunch break and it stalled on the way home so it could get worse immediately. warranty covered my problem

What kind of fuel are you using? What is your car tuned for? That might be able to explain the sound part. If your using 80-9 Octane as supposed to 91-3 Octane it might make a difference. As to the shaking... Engine mounts? Take it to your MB dealership if your still under warrenty.

Another possibility is that there's something funky going on with the O2 sensors. I've had older cars with bad O2 sensors shake at idle because the computer starves the engine of air (because of the bad sensor readings) and almost stalls the engine at idle. Do the RPMs drop below the typical idle line (about 700 RPM, I think)?

I use 91 octane from costco.
What is a PCV hose and where is it located? Of late I have noticed water dripping from under the engine compartment which I assumed to be from AC.
