W203 C320 Coupe question
Anyone on here own one of these? I saw one for sale today online. I like the hatchback sport coupes. The 320 models were only for 2004? Is this correct? I've been looking for a 2007 C-class sedan lease but think a lease turn-in is a better idea. The coupes are an even better deal for my immediate needs. I've got to get into a W203 car and get away from these old W124s I keep wasting time with. Anyone care to comment on the C320 Coupes?
Thanks in advance, I'll use the search function as well.
BTW, this is the best W203 forum.
Regards,
Jason

We also have an '03 C320. It's a very nice ride. Also C320 coupes are not common in the US. Less than 3,000 were sold during the three years that they were available here.

The coupe is a great little car, it doesnt really differ from the sedan in terms of performance and gets decent mpg. Very good choice for a daily driver, very reliable.

Thanks to everyone for telling me to look for a C320 Coupe. I did find out that they were sold here for 2003, 04 and 05. I did not know there are only 3000 of them in The States. I've seen a few for sale in the Los Angeles area. I'm looking for one but the ones i know of are asking premium prices. I'll keep looking. I looked at two C230 Coupes today. A 2003 and a 2004. Both were going for too much and I really want to find a 320.
Thanks for posting. All of your C-class coupes look sweet.

I can't say that I agree with you. Certainly, the 2005 model has some advantages over the earlier models, such as the wider front and rear tracks. However, I don't like the grille on the revised models as much as the earlier grille and I don't like the revised instrument cluster and binnacle that are shared with the other c-class models. The earlier models, such as our '03, have the cleaner grille and the more distinctive 'three leaf clover'-shaped binnacle.

I enjoy the 05 coupe, but I really dislike the fact that the Brabus lip doesnt fit the facelifted bumper.
But other than that, I love it. And also, a lot of people prefer the newer grilles and taillights over the pre-facelifted ones. It's just preference.

What is the "wider track" on the 2005 coupes?
I'm in LA, too and got my 04 preowned from AutoStiegler right after they moved from Encino. The '04 Mercedes, so I hear, have free maintenance on the warranty -- but the 05's don't. I think there are some late year 04's with the upgraded coupe look, too?
