When the city sleeps, I guess some of us just can't. Those participating include myself, Frank, Phil, my bro Salty-C, and Drex. We took the opportunity to snap pictures on otherwise busy daytime streets and facilities. Yes, Phil brought the M3, but oh well :p. Please remember, night time pictures suck without adequate lighting so my "stock" 30D and I are trying our best with the budget my wallet allows of course. Want a challenge? Try camera modding!

Sorry all, the infamous red Audi didn't make an appearance... it's currently undergoing construction. Comments are welcome and if any of you really want the fullsize originals, just check out the group some of us have created to organize all the photos in one place: http://www.flickr.com/groups/mbshooter

As an added bonus, I think I've managed to capture what "Midnight Blue" actually looks like compared to Black Opal.

[BBS Club] members also make a night-time appearance...
Yes, Frank and I felt a little special about this one. :p. And I don't really have to say it, but when there isn't traffic or "the law" surrounding the very expensive island you're standing on, your hand gets steadier about taking pictures.

We're waiting for you Blake.

Enjoy .

And if you know where this picture was taken...
...then don't come there too often because the security guards will ask if you have a permit to take pictures, lol.

Cheers!

They normally say that pictures don't do a car justice. Well, congratulations Flip, these pictures do justice for that awesome colour called "Black Opal" - the deep, dark, and mysterious colour. A rare colour too, so it's a sight to behold.

Haha, thanks - I'm pretty new to the world of SLR, but I've spent nearly a year gearing up for the move from a regular P&S. The hawaiian vacation was the first test of any 'skills' I thought I had.

Nice shots guys.

Jose, I see you finally made the switch. What lens(es) are you shooting with?

Frank, if you're using a tripod then you need to be using the lowest possible ISO not the ISO1000 setting you used for those two pictures which is causing the excessive grain.
