As an added bonus, I think I've managed to capture what "Midnight Blue" actually looks like compared to Black Opal.

Jose, I see you finally made the switch. What lens(es) are you shooting with?
Frank, if you're using a tripod then you need to be using the lowest possible ISO not the ISO1000 setting you used for those two pictures which is causing the excessive grain.
