***Official PhotoShop (wheels/drop) my ride thread***

Since there seem to be so many n00b questions about which wheels will look good, or whether or not to lower, I figure this will be the thread for people to post requests for wheels and drop pchops. I know there are several of us here who know how to do it, so anyone with photoshop skills feel free to lend a hand. Here are a few rules:

1) If you are going to make a request, you MUST provide a picture of your car (side profile preferred) along with a picture of the wheels you want on your ride (preferrably at the same angle as the picture of your car submitted). Please realize the quality of pchops is dependent upon the quality of images submitted.

2) All requests will be worked on in the order submitted (but you can PayPal bribes in order to have your request bumped to the top of the list!). I will likely only be working on these during my free time at work, so be patient.

3) No making fun of the "artist's" (and I use that term very loosely) work... some of us are still learning!

4) I reserve the right to make more rules as I see fit.

Now let's start the show...

I've been doing that myself to try out wheels, what do y'all think?

Edit: How are you getting the lowered look, just by moving the wheels up into the fender well? Looks good man, great work.

Not just the n00bs, but for those who aren't too great at photoshop. I'd still consider myself a newbie here but I'm good enough at photshop that I could switch the rims, lower it, etc. But yes, a very nice thread idea indeed.

Nice. I duplicate the layer, delete the wheels on the top layer exposing the layer behind, then drop the first layer... effectively moving the wheels up into the fender well, except this allows you to tuck the tires behind the fenders if you want to go that low. I'm certainly open to suggestions if anyone knows a better way...still learning my way around photoshop.

I agree that this is a great idea. Im also making my way through this p-shop. I would say thats its the best took so far to mod your car out without f-in up for real.

*check out that photochopshop.com or something. They have great tutorials!

Of course... anyone who wants to help out can jump right in and answer a request as long as they are taking it serious and not just messing around.

I'll do my best to keep it on the first page so the lazy n00bs don't have to look too hard.

Yea MJ, that's how we old school guys used to chop our rides... we just went out and did it. But you're missing the entire point of this thread.

Let this be a lesson to everyone... Phil obviously didn't read the instructions that said the car and wheel submitted should be at the same angle (the first time!). Since I was feeling generous (and extremely bored) I decided to search for a better pic of the same wheel.

Here ya go...

It's possible to do it with phils original submissions:

Let me know if i gunmetalled them too dark. I also dropped the car, aka...fist drop.

@ the master. You haven't taught me that yet, fool!

Wait... did you use the pic that Phil has attached now or the one he attached at first where the wheel was angled?

For Phil's pic, I guess its whichever one we're looking at now?

I believe we can go a tad bit darker with Phil's:

Should we dare race for the color-match?
