I dont recommend "checking" the TQ once installed- If you break the thread locker free it is useless and the fastener will need to be reomved, cleaned, re-coated and torqued again.
If an installation is done incorrectly the time elapsed before a problem occurs can be measured in a few days. It sounds to me as if you had a proper installation.

Is it really neccesary to drill the spaces in to set the screws in for the ring kit?
Im guessing if your car is leased, the ring isnt the way to go as the pulley gets marked up?
Correct me if im wrong, I just got a 230K, and am torn between what to do.

If you are worried about your lease return get the alloy pulley- It provides better power and response in any case.

Thanks for the help KLEEMANN
I have worked on small engines in the past.
Is it hard to remove the actually pulley off the tapered end of the crankshaft? I would assume it is, after removingthe bolt but I may be wrong.
Is there a puller of any sort needed?

That is for a steel pulley. I realize you have a steel band to protect wear where the pulley contacts the seal but does it add enough rigidity to the aluminum to support that much pressure from the bolt?

Thanks Kleemann, I'm "finally" gotten in touch with your Malaysia agent (with a lot of trouble), please advise your webmaster that in Malaysia the phone/fax numbers have another digit added to it, therefore your "dealers" web page is incorrect for Malaysia.
As for the past two failures, I'm not concerned with the problems of just two people... I'm pretty confident with Danish quality control (used to live in Danmark you see... )
Anyways about installation, my friends' father is the cheif mechanic at Brabus Thailand, I'm sure he would have installed a ring or ten in his life ... that is, if he doesn't see the Kleemann logo and swap it for a Brabus one without me knowing hahahaha
Well, my Kleemann ring pulley is being ordered as we speak...thanks to everyone on this board... you've been a great help, and thanks Kleemann - its comforting to see an official representative mingling with us customers.
Cheers,

C200K
K20 or K23
KLEEMANN ------
Can you shed some light on this subject? Why does your Malaysian distributor insist that the K23 won't fit on a C200K? Is this true, I thought BAIJAMAN ordered a K23 kit and it fits fine for his C200k (and he was told so by the US distributor as well)
Order on hold... you see, the fact of the matter is that Kleemann USA sells the K23 for nearly half the price sold anywhere else in the world. If the K23 fits, I'd love to save a few hundred dollars to be used on other performance mods.
Confused

Bajaiman if you are in Australia try Capa, the guys there told me they were looking into 200/230 kompressor mods. They also do intercoolers.
