Smile Thinking about putting neons on my car

My uncle didn't want these so he gave me this purple neon. I'm thinking about getting it installed on my car. I wish it was blue, but purple isn't too bad from the picture.

Any idea on how much it would cost to have this installed?

Sell those ones, and get yourself a blue set of LED ones from ebay...they aren't that expensive, especially if you get some money for those...I'd love to do a blue set also

Too many to list
I'm sure it's an easy do-it-yourself project but to me, neons scream "rice"...especially on a benz. But it's your car; do whatever floats your boat.

I don't know for certain, however streetglow is obviously the best brand of neons...i think...at least its always been more expensive...don't forget LEDs take almost no power...those neons will draw a lot off your battery...

If you want to go for a ricer look you should have bought a Civic, you drive a Benz!

Somehow I don't see any prestige German car having that tacky stuff on.

Do it on a Hyundai or Cavalier, these lights scream 'low-rent'

If you go with additional lighting go with the puddle lights...it's not my thing but do what makes you happy. The neon under the car is very 90's...just my .02.

Neon and Benz, not a good combination, IMHO.

Bright enough for what? It doesn't surprise me that you'd co-sign neon underglows.

The jlevi puddles are noticeable...anyone that is near my car notices them, but the spotting effect on the ground is pretty bad unless your right next to the side skirt looking down....also dirt gets in the lenses and makes it even worse...I have to unscrew the covers and clean each individual cover out...and one of them I can't unscrew because there is so much sand in the threads... you get what you pay, although I feel it does look good for only 25...in fact if I don't upgrade to better 4 led lights in the future I wouldn't mind installing a new set...and doing something to protect it from dirt getting in...
