i recently got a magnaflow exhaust on my c280 w203 and had resonator delete. ive seen numerous times the words " break in" in relation to the new exhaust. some have said break in occurs within first 200 miles or 2 months, etc. what does this "break-in" mean? can anyone clarify this for me? thanks a billion

 

from what ive read, it gets louder when its broken in
but for me...it got quieter after it broke in
maybe its just cuz it got warmer out...

 

yeh but what exactly is the scienfic facts behind this so called "breaking in" ive read about on this forum?

 

take your car on a highway and floor it all the way till you can't, then you will understand what does it called "govener" break-in
