Who is a pro around here?

This is lame, you ask a question and provide no information on what you are running. Only thing I can gather is that you say you have a C63 from you sig line.

I have answers, but like you, decline to provide input.

Feel the love noob.

I felt a slight difference with my Magnaflow on the freeway. The throttle is more responsive but it also has to do with my psychological butt dyno. All in all, I was mainly after the exhaust tone and any added performance (if any) would just be the cherry ontop of the whipped cream. Typically speaking, a muffler won't do much. I believe the stock piping on our vehicles is at least 2" which seems to be pretty decent. However, no one mods their vehicle without touching the exhaust system. Regardless of performance gains or not, GO FOR IT!!

about 3-7hp depending on what rpm you are talking about.

Remus had a dyno posted on their webpage ...

With my personal car i can tell you there is a gain... my car also doesn't pull timing as often as it used to before the exhaust... That is definately a measurable gain...

I think the gain is in sound only, it makes you think that you have more power. Louder does not equate to more power, any AMG or RS, or M are very quiet and have loads of power.

Last time I checked, the stock Civic/Prelude/Integra/Hyundai/Neon/etc/etc/etc with the drain pipe exhaust was still slow albeit noisy and did not do any blistering stop-light sprint.

As a rule 4 cyl motors sound like crap with a free flow exhaust. My TR6 on the otherhand has one of the sweetest sounding notes with the stock system that would be the envy of any tuner

That question is very, VERY, fluctuante as there are different variables that have to be taken into account.

You will notice we mostly design mufflers only, with some exceptions to high end vehicules and different race systems. The reason we do design mufflers and not whole cat backs is because we do not believe the difference between axle-back and cat-back is significant enough to justify the cost.

We have had results in terms of performance with axle-backs as good as cat-backs on many applications while not being overly loud like most cat-backs.

I downgraded to a VW, it's still German though
As an unlicensed KaleCo Auto dealer I recommend the following products for your performance needs:

The O-Pipe:

You've heard of the Y pipe.. the X pipe.. the H pipe.. nothing can touch the O pipe!!! It provides 100% back pressure feedback on ALL engines!! Torque increase and kuneutson valve float brings in much lower revs so you don't hurt your motor! Not CARB Legal. Please specify standard or polished finish. Product shown is dual input O-Pipe with standard finish.

The Butt Dyno:

Just install a great mod like a cold air intake? Electric supercharger? Big Muffler? Magnetic fuel line ionizer? Awesome wing? Are you getting no respect from your friends for your newly found power? As we all know, these are high end and sophisticated modifications. Some may be TOO sophisticated to actually show up on a traditional dyno. So here we have: The Butt Dyno. Simply place it in the seat, and drive fast, weaving in and out of traffic. (On a race course, of course.) Now you can tell your friends with confidence "That oil-saturated air filter gave me 20 horses!"

And to handle all that searing power, some Cross Drilled Brake Lines:

Want improved braking? Why just cross drill those rotors? Introducing KaleCoAuto cross drilled brake lines! Improved airflow through lines provides superior brake cooling. Brake fluid is exposed to cool moving air, almost instantly reducing heat, and providing shorter stopping distances! All lines are made of quality latex. Brake lines come in: Red and Yellow. Please specify color when ordering!! Warning!! You must replace ALL brake lines at once. You may mix colors.
