How very... original...
its very weird how it works he ordered the car, picked out everything he wanted on it, and he does not get a exact price till the car comes in. But yes he is guessing to pay around $30,000 for it.
Yeah, but the SLK is a convertible. You can't get that in the Chrysler.
Isn't the current SLK history after this year anyway? One year on the same internals...then the SLK will be riding on something different, probably with a different motor too!
The cost of modifying the engine bay to accept the Chrysler motor is probably what decided the matter. Frankly I'd rather have the more powerfull chrysler unit(253HP) anyway.
Still a pretty good price for a fully loaded nice looking car, even if it is a Honda.
Yes its not that bad of a price. But if i was him the only honda i would get is the S2000 for about 2 grand more he can have that instead. I personally think it looks alot better and its RWD.
The only honda i would get is the Euro/Jap version of the Civic Type R
I used to own an 87 Accord. Most unreliable car Ive ever owned. Burned oil. Burned antifreeze. Even mixed antifreeze in the oil right before I got rid of it. New rotors twice. Ingition switch broke in the driveway...lotsa rust. Plenty of other little quirks as well. I know everyone believes this is the most reliable car on the planet, but mine sure wasn't.
Oh, and the dealers are jerks.
I'd never buy another Honda.
