w203: does a 2005 shift knob fit in a 2001 model?
anyone can help me to clarified if a 2005 model shift knob will be able to replace my current one (2001 model) ... cos i like to buy the one from brabusant ... many thanks

2005 C230K Sport Sedan, 6 speed manual
The 2005 has reverse gear to the left and forward.
The 2001 has reverse to the left and back (sometimes called dog-leg reverse).

Nothing MB related (sorry)
... that's for the manual gear shifter. 2005 auto shifters will fit the pre 2005 without a problem.
