Question Nipple on Steering Column

I was just wondering what the nipple located on the right hand side of the steering column, directily above and to the left of the keys, function is.
Thanks,
Adam

I think you're talking about the attachment point for the additional "stalk" which is used for the voice activated COMAND system option. Same connection on the left side where the cruise control stalk is.

It does look remarkably similiar in size, to some I've seen, but the texture and shape is a little off. I don't think I can get my head close enough to the dashboard to actually suck on the thing.

Is there something that actually attaches to this, or is it intended, to function the way it currently is for the COMMAND SYSTEM option?
Thanks

Nipple! Did somebody say Nipple? Pics! We need pics, I say!

Is this feature on the dash or on the steering column? (If on the column, see MarkL's comment.)

Why do you want pics? So you can remove them and post a "MBworld Violation" pic instead? :p

Sheesh, dude! Just because I'm one of the moderator dudes around here doesn't mean that I don't like to have a little fun.

Besides, I'm pretty sure that the nipple in question on this thread will be of the plastic variety. No, wait, most of those being discussed in the OT forum are plastic, too. Oh darn!
