Lightbulb ESP Visit workshop

It's 3 days as I get a "ESP Visit Workshop" light and ESP button on dash doesn't work. Diagnostic didn't find any problem. What can I do? Please advise.

Were you doing some donuts recently? I've gotten that message before... usually resets itself after you turn the car off for a couple hours. If not, take it to the dealer, your ESP controller might be bad or need a reset.

Someone else had a "Yaw Control Sensor" go out recently. Since this sensor is an integral part of the ESP system, it's possible that your ESP failure can be attributed to the different sensors involved in the ESP system.

Have your dealer check out your sensors at your earliest convenience. This is probably a dealer-only job. I doubt an indy-mechanic can rectify your problem due to the complexity of the car's electronic systems.

...

check your rear tires...

i dont know if i am tying 2 things together... but my esp light had been on for about a week and a half.... turned my car off and on it and it would still stay lite... doing the reset thing turning the wheels all the way to the right and then to the left did nothing.... not until we had a heavy rain and my traction sucked in it did i notice my rears tires where basically bald. i replaced the tires and the esp light has not lite up since... approx 2 months

Another malfunction I got is: "Break pads wear". Does ESP light connected with break pads?

I checked and found that break's wire was cut. After replacing break signal disappear.

I think my problem related with front axle. Because front left steering knuckle is contorted after accident. I already ordered a new steering knuckle and hope that problem will be resolved.

Clean the sensors at the wheels (front and back) by removing T10 knots, reconnect the ESP error may no longer appear.

Wow, a reply to a 12 year old thread? Well, always good to see potentially useful info being added to the
forum. If anyone looks at this in the future, they can use the iCarsoft to read the ESP codes and
determine exactly what needs replacing. I suffered with a constant esp code for years til
I got an SDS diag and found it was the Yaw sensor. Which at the time was $700.
Some years later I finally purchased it off ebay for $30, and no issues since.
Also had one wheel sensor replaced along the way.
