just go to www.tirerack.com and you will see a few options. i would recommends changing the pads to ceramic just b/c they dont dust as much. i have EBC red stuff ceramics on my C320 right now.

What year is it? Don't worry about your english. It's actually much better than some people on here who have been speaking english all their lives.

my mechanic was able to use the sensor from the EBC pads... how come you bought a U.S. model and shipped it over there??? the euro model is so much hotter with euro compact strips, folding mirrors, etc? just curious

Akebono pads have received great reviews. I think there are some people who have used them for the 2005 front calipers, but I'm not 100% positive about that.

Unfortunately, unless you have an early build 2005 (with the 4 piston calipers), you have the 2 piston calipers, which don't have very many aftermarket brake pads available.

The rear brake pads should be easy to find. A lot more options with those.

2019 C300 Wagon; '75 Triumph TR6; previous: 2004 C230 6spd sold after 17 years of driving
Most 2005 have 2 piston calipers in the sport package

The way to tell

2 piston caliper has two torx bolts on it and are more oval in shape

4 piston caliper has four allen bolts on it and are more square in shape

DO NOT REMOVE ANY OF THESE BOLTS THOUGH!! OR YOU WILL BE BUYING NEW CALIPERS = $$$$$$

Some web sites will show an actual picture, so maybe this will help.
These are the pads for the four piston '04.5 sport models. Most web sites will list this pad for the '05 models as well, but they are not.

Here is what the correct pad looks like.

I hate brake dust, so I would advise against oem pads, but if you have no alternative, the MB part number is 003-420-95-20. Don't let the dealer jam you, I bought a set for $62.70.

Is @ Home

You have the 2004.5 4 piston front brakes.

Nice car, you even got the bix.

For the pads, you can also try to source out the pads used in the C32 and C55 AMG.

i read this thread but more people have the same problem. I can't still find any ceramic pads , alle pages are the same.

without AMG or Sport Package. For vehicles without Sport Package (code 949) or AMG Sport Package (code 950).????????

why there is nothing with sport package?

Look through this thread and it should have the pads listed
