Stopped quickly today and took some twighlight pics. the car is a lil dirty but i wanted to get some pics up. so far i have the white star flat badge, de-pinstripped and tinted windows(minus the alarm stickers on the quarter windows)

i think im going to keep that grill, i like the smoothness of it. although, i do think im gonna color match it for the sporty look. and have the side markers painted while im at it.
The tails i think i like, might tint though.

cut the vertical slats, sand down, prime, paint center bars matte black and outer ring to match. think that would look mean.

well im from florida and thats where hes at. still in shorts tees and flip flops down there. of course not when he was riding. there are those that do ride like that though.
well i went to a lil custom shop around the corner today looking for wheels. he did not have a supplier for the wheels i want. i had him check to see if he could get me a decent price on tires. i told him 235/45/19 and 265/35/19 he said that its not a good combo cause he couldnt find a tire that would have both sizes. am i correct in those sizes? thats what i thought i read in the wheel and tire thread
i also stopped by a paint shop and the guy must have had his head up his ***. he first was all taken back by me wating to paint the grille blue and the side markers. he told me hes never painted chrome before. after informing him that its just chrome paint per say over plastic he quoted me 299 for both. a lil steep right? this is with me removing and bringing him the parts.
i wish i still lived in florida. paint shops are used to seeing all kinds of stuff. Virginia is like going to my grandmas house for the weekend. nobody is up to speed with car customization

Some guy here is flogging them, you'd have to be a mug to order one, ha ha specially numbered, like it's worth anything. You'd be better off buying the OEM badge form a C Coupe or CLK, it looks better too, the star on the special looks odd and out of proportion.

i know most guys are running a 8.5 inch wheel up front and the wheels i want are 8. should i go down to a 225 up front maybe? i called a place and gave them the above listed sizes and they said all that they can really get to match is the michelin pilot sport pr2. anyone running these? what tire do you all recommend
