carbon fibre hood for c230 coupe
anyone seen or have any pics of a carbon fibre hood on a c230 coupe? my hood has a million rock chips so i may decide to go with this ... just want to try and see some pics if people have already done so.. thanks guys

I believe thiere was only one made and pshek (i think thats his name) is the only one who has one. I was looking to so either you would have to pay a lot for someone to custom make one or get your hood wrapped.

how do yo mean get the hood wraped in CF?
mine also is stone chipped like crazy and i was thinking of replacing it with a CF hood but cant find any for the coupe?

i see them for sell on ebay a lot, i just ripped my out. thinking of using the mesh from tuner cars, looks same as amg models.

c230 Kompressor Coupe
You know Peter was in the process of replicating his hood for all the coupes on the forums and I was waiting for that group buy to happen. But he never pulled through, I think it was because no one else was willing to purchase it and everyone backed out. It sucks because I was in line to get the hood before he did but the seller decided to give it to Peter because of that reason. But from that point, he hasn't had any news on it. So I'm still waiting...........

donno maybe it's just me, mercedes with CF hood hardly looks good, especially on light colour car. Cuz the size of the hood is huge compare to lots of the Japanese made car, maybe it's just me tho
