drivers side mirror-- seeing double!
ok -- question time to all --- my drivers side mirror seems to be delaminating and am seeing double at night -- sometimes 4 sets of headlights coming from behind, and I was not drinking!!!
i noticed that the rubber on the outer edge looks like it has been melted and does not auto dim anymore--- anyone have a spare, or idea on how this could have happened
anyone have a similar problem?

I have a extra set of rearview mirrors since I installed the convex ones. PM me with price if interested. Wait till you see what a dealer wants for it first.

yup seal is broken-- looks as though the edge is melted in one spot?????? the ruber surround is all good untill it gets to that spot then the rubber is like all mushy??? weird---
for my pocketbook's shape, i would have hopes I was haloucinating but sadly... have to take the sober path and see four cars behind me when there should be only one--- only at night of course

i am awaiting shipment from the Capt. -- in the meantime--is there a DIY for this mirror replacement--I assume it is like the old ones but uncertain and don't want to bust anything up---
BTW thanks for the heads up on the paint eating-- looks like the interior of the mirror housing already had a dribble on it.
