What does the DaimlerBenz extended warranty cost ?

Check with Lisa Lehrbaum at Courtesy Motors (Chico, CA); her contact number is 1-800-655-3535.

Since she has the access to the MB computer database (the Courtesy Motors is one of the MB dealers), once she receive your payment, she can update the records directly.

By the way, she has the best price that my local dealer(s) even didn't bother to counter offer.

I have different model than yours; I paid $900 less than the MB recommended price.

What does this cost at a MB dealer ?

Also, are there any extra charges when you take you car in under the "free maintenance" period ?

 

I got the 1 year/100,000 mile addition to the original factory warranty...they built it into the lease....the factory warranty was 3 yrs/60,000 miles....i got an additional year and 40,000miles to cover the lease (4 years/80,000miles)....the cost was about $1200 extra...the dealer said that the price was not negotiable...stupid me...I should have looked into it some more before finalizing the deal....they do have different extensions of the warranty....
also, not sure of additional costs when you have a 'scheduled service'.

 

My dealer offered an extended warranty for roughly $2000 to cover the car up to 100000 mi or 7 years. This was the premium coverage. There is a basic coverage that is lower. The catch is that the extended warranty had to be purchased within the first 364 days. Anyone gotten a better deal? I postponed but plan to add.

 

It seems from other post that the going rate is about 30% off for the extended warranties. I got 32% off for my E and 28.5% for my C.
