Nitto NT555 265/30/19 on a 9.5 et35 rear wheel
Is anyone using a Nitto NT555 265/30/19 on a 9.5 et35 rear wheel? If so- any rubbing issues? I am thinking of buying these tires for my W203 C230, however from what I read and past expirience Nitto is known for being a little on the fat side. Something like a Hankook k104, General Exclaim, Avon, or Kumho would work too- but I would rather have the Nitto.
I am looking for more of a budget tire. This car has never and will never see rain or snow. It rarely gets driven, and when it does, it's not driven hard.

a quarter mile at a time
I've got the NT555's on my 19"s. 265/30-R19's on 19x9.5 Bremmas. No rubbing with normal driving. Slight rubbing on the driver's side if I go over some crazy bumps or hills.

you should be fine, you will rub in the back on dips and bumps if your lowered, i've moved to 275 with rolled fenders and no rubbing, and my drop is kinda drastic. you should be fine. I run a Falken 452 with a stretched sidewall though, you may wanna look into a more angled sidewall tire vs a squared one like Khumo. Hope this helps.

I wasn't trying to open a can of worms about brands being good or bad. I was just curious about fitment of a Nitto tire since they are normally a little fatter or more squared that other brands.
Thanks everyone.

I've got them on my 05' 230.I also have H & R springs, which drop it down a bit and I have no rubbing issues.I like the 555's so far,not a bad tire for the price.
Btw rims are TSW Bremma's staggered 19's.

I've got the same springs- so I should be good.
Now I am just deciding if I want the Nitto or Kumho. I've got a friend that's a Mazda rep- he can get me a heck of a deal on the Kumho.

The Nitto 555's are my first low-profile tire,so I have nothing to base a comparison on,but they seem to stick pretty well.I've heard good things about Kumho being a "alotta tire for the money".Btw FWIW I think the 555's look great on the Bremma's.
