Really Sad / Pissed off
So I was about to get into my car, after a nice happy Christmas eve dinner with the family in San Ramon, and i notice that someone broke into my car, the passanger side window was all shattered, f^*k!! does anyone know a reliable place in the bay area [ I am in Berkeley / El Sobrante ] [not concerned about price, because Insurance will cover it]

The keys for my other benz was in the car (visable in the passanger side pocket), and my e320 was parked directly across it, they managed to take my mom's purse out of the e320 which had 2gs, + a 1k diamond ring in it.

So sorry to hear about two cars broken into at the same time. A couple of junkies having a nice Christmas at your expense. When I lived in the Hollywood Hills, nightly car break-ins were to be expected. The LAPD was too busy beating up minority motorists to even take a report. I learned to never leave anythng in the car but the floormats.
I hope your mom feels better soon. A woman carries more than property in her purse. It becomes a part of their personality, and theft of a purse is violence against her person.
For the glass in the door, call the dealer and find out who does their glass work. The glass shop will use OEM glass, and most often have a mobile service to fix it where you are.

I feel your pain man. My car was brokoen into over labor day wknd. It takes some time to get over it, but since then I don't leave anything in my car and lock the glove box.
