Back of front seat came off! Urggh.

Back of front seat came off! Urggh.
My wife has a 2002 C-240-the other day the rear panel of the front passenger seat came off. You can literally see the cushion and springs inside the front seat...It has some stupid black plastic clip thats supposed to hold it up. What a cheap peice of crap.. anyone else had this problem? What did you do to get it back on....I'm thinking of putting some glue on this sucker! Help!

My passenger side also came off. It looks like the previous owner tryed to fix it but over tighten the screws. Now the holes are to big. I took a washer and a longer screw and tighten that sucker up. Its stayed there ever sence. The excess leather covered it up nicely.

If people in the back seat put there feet against the back of the seat sometimes it will pull those screws through. Most of the times its kids that cant keep there feet on the floor. You can use some dimple washers from home improvement store. or what I did was use a fiber glass repair kit for boats to patch, and the redrilled the holes and installed. Not very sturdy to begin with.

C240 Seat Back came off- Help
I have a 2003 C-240, the other day the back of the front seat fell off. I replaced the screws at the bottom of the seat; but would now like to know where i can purchase the 2 plastic black brakcets that go inside the seat, and hold the seatback
