cant find on eBay or Classified. Anyone has climatronic unit for sale?
Hi all, doing audio 10 this weekend and figure i do climatronic if i can find one for decent (I heard about $300-350). I cant find on eBay or Classified. Anyone has climatronic unit for sale or know where I can get one FAST? need it by Sat. latest so probably need to do transaction today and ship it overnite or something. Thanks all

I installed climatronic in my 2003 c C230K - easy to install following instructions in Audio 10 install-about 30 minutes. I think it is great, but I love gadgets. The digital readout really adds class to the coupe- especially at nite. The tunnel mode does not work - it did with the mechancal control - but I don't use it anyhow. The climatronic does allow me to use the drivers knob to distribute the air flow between defrost, panel, and feet while staying in the auto mode and therefore I no longer get condensation on the window. The passenger air direction knob does not work. In my opinion, it is definitely worth the $200 to $300 price for the rich look it gives the coupe and not having condensation on the window. Any trouble installing, let me know and I can guide you.

don't know about dealers except I understand the retail from dealers is $540, but I maybe wrong - I got mine from ebay for $240. The part number is 203-830-05-85 for 2002 and before with the "ec rest" button and 203-830-09-85 for the "ac off" button. Function the same, just different label.

Audio 10 is the optional in dash cd player for MB which is not available in NA. the instructions to install the audio 10 can be used to intstall the climatronic because you have to remove the climate controls in order to remove the radio. . the install instructions have been posted many times. i have a copy of the install instrucitons if your interested. you can email me or PM me for them.
