Talking with Bose about Coupe sound quality...

Who's In charge of the Amp !!!
I think Bose speakers in our coupes are not driven hard enuf to deliver all their potential output.
I discount the HU (even as have just "upgraded" to the Audio10.
That leaves the amp to perform its designed, intended and designated task - driving them Boses. Whoever put in that wimpy amp is the culprit and ought to be .......

I did posted back in April when I brought the C230K. "Bose upgrade sounds like hell".
At first, I thought its a deflective sound system in my car. Since I don't expect that kind of sound coming out from a "Premium audio upgrade", its worst than my Honda stock system! Then I nearly brought the car back to the service in the very first day! But my friend told me that Bose always sounds like this...
In the feedback survey to MB, I did put this as the biggest unsatisfaction item!

Not all Bose systems sound bad. I went with my friend to pick up his new G35, and that Bose system sounded great. Actually, everything about the G35 was great. I think the German manufacturers have a new problem to deal with!

I tweaked it!
well...the system isn't TOO BAD but! only cuz i changed the AMP to the Bose sub. It now hits a lot harder than b4 but still cant take too much...the speaker really sux cuz it really cant handle the amount i want it to...so the sounds u guys listen to...is what they found as being..Perfect for the sub so it doesn't blow. Having a new In dash system made my Bose speakers on the doors sound better too. They can actually take a lot of bass cuz i can finally feel my doors shake a little but still not rattle my mirrors or n e thing because the car is really well insulated. Ask more questions if you want but i say the Sub gotta go...i might change that speaker thats on it...because its not really doing well...i'll get back to you guys on it if i do.

What kind of amp did you end up using? Was there an issue with the 2ohm vs 4 ohms?
Does anyone know what size the sub (subs?) are in the coupe?
