Why Wont LED Lights Work On My Car?

They won't work over the L plate in the rear.
They won't work in the large front panel or the rear panel inside.
and They won't work as parking lamps... they flash when you switch
them on and off from the cockpit and thats about it...but they wont
stay on...its really strange..does anyone know why this is?
What is crazy is they do work in the front individual lights. for
passenger and driver... help

There r some glitch with the search on this site i think. sometimes when seaching using some terms will show a blank page. Try to take out one term if you have many in one search. I find that searching using "rear" would usually show blank.

noobs need to shut the hell up with the idiotic posts. They are all listed in the DIY/FAQ. This topic has been beaten to death. If you don't see it after you actually take the time to READ...then search by keywords before posting.

I'm sorry, but we don't feed cry babies.

guess what I found searching LED within the thread for " LINK: CITY/PARKING LIGHT AFTERMARKET REPLACEMENT BULBS" https://mbworld.org/forums/search.php?searchid=3652702

Stick around as long as I have, much less Frank's time, and you'll see where we're coming from.

you still don't get it do you??

the city/side marker bulb thread is LISTED in the DIY/FAQ thread. If you have bothered to take some time and read it you would've found your answer without blaming the search page crashing

ha. Frank is a long time respected member and good friend that knows A LOT about cars, especially the w203. his car puts about 98% of the cars here to shame.

we've been around here for a lot longer and seeing all these n00b threads pop up is quite annoying.

you know, when I searched for just "LED", quite a few pages pop up that contain relevant results.

you want to be spoon fed the answers? here's a short answer. LED's won't work b/c they draw less voltage than a regular bulb. you need to get the perfect resistors to make up for the difference or else the car will think the bulb is out and give you an error. there are TONS of threads on this topic.

btw, any more disrespect towards any of our members and you'll be getting

I wasn't bashing you, it was basically a general statement. Most people are more than willing to point you in the right direction, including me, if I can answer a question, although I'm not nearly as educated as the others on here. Didn't mean to spark an argument or anything, but the mods are usually ten times as mean when it comes to stuff like this....they just want to keep the forum as neat as possible when people use the search function...take it easy...

I've never had problems with the search function. You just have to know how to word it in a certain way to get the most results while still getting good threads.

try to search threads with this word "rear". I tried this on several computers, firefox and IE, and all of them show blank page.
