i have the common C320 clicking noise behind the vent, we changed M2/10 motor and M2/11 motor and check linkage , they are all okay, still getting clicking noise behind the dash the sound seems from left side or center.
i am looking for a professional in houston or anyone of you had this problem before and can recomend a mechanic.
The C320 has 10 Actuators unlike the C240, which makes it difficult to figure out the problem.
Thanks.

if the sound gets louder and ticks faster as you accelerate then it could be the infamous piece of insulation material that rubs on the driveshaft.

Explorethey have to take the dash out, the C320 has 10 motors for the AC , and the bad MB design that these motors and the linkage for each motor breaks.
So Sunil did this job several time and every MB c class owner has this problem , no way you can run away from it.
The problem is the dealer is too expensive, i was lucky to bargain 8 hours of work with MB dealer in Sugar Land plus parts, Sunil gave me a better deal. Usually MB dealer will charge 10 hours 100 usd/Hr.
The car will be in shop tomrrow and as soon as i get it i will let you know but he sounded solid and experienced in MB and BMW. i went to his shop today and i saw some of the work they do, they do heavy stuff, engine reapir, transmission and custom work, i was satisfied from what i saw.

i do not hear the clicking noise anymore , but sometimes when i change air direction i hear the motor moving not clicking noise.
i will test further this week.
