Left & right are hydraulic.
My dealer's listing of things they recommend be checked for common trouble on W203 over & above regular service.
1) Transmission electrical plug adaptor leaks.
2) A/C push button module & display failure.
3) Transmission mount replacement.
4) Left engine mount failure. (Causes vibration to be transferred to steering wheel and seats.) Can also leak hydraulic fluid and cause clunk under acceleration.
5) Front control arm caster bushes. (cracking & leakage)
I'm surprised at the A/C control module but they assure me these are the top 5. They also recommend plug changes as 100K Km's max or 62,000 miles. They say they have experienced ignition system failures due to increased output requirements of worn or fouled plugs.
Bear in mind that this is under Mobilodrive or Motorplan so MBSA is usually carrying the cost.

I know I am asking a lot of questions but if the hydraulic fluid doesn't always leak even when a mount is failed, what is the mechanism of failure assuming all the fluid is retained?
