Looking to purchase a gently used 07 C230
Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum although I am a previous SLK230 owner. I am looking to purchase a gently used 07' C230. I'm in S. California and recently had a really bad experience at Fletcher Jones (which is where I bought my first SLK230 in 04') - saw the 07' C230 on the internet, called them and negotiated the out the door price and trade-in price on my current car - made an appointment for last Saturday. Received a confirmation call THAT morning - drove down there (coming from Ventura County) 2 1/2 hours later - got there and they proceeded to tell me that "my car" sold the night before. They of course neglected to tell me this when they called to confirm my appointment. They did bend over backwards to try to find another car on their lot that was acceptable, but it just wasn't. Anyway, if anyone can recommend another dealership, it would be greatly appreciated.
Even though I am not a "current" mb owner, it does feel good to be back.

I had a great experience Mark Dewey at Mercedes Benz of Anaheim. They have a great selection of 07 c230s (I bought a silver one).

Last year when I was gonna buy my car I, too negotiated with them for an out the door price then when I went there for the appointment it was about 1500 higher than that. I was like there's no way I'm gonna do this and you guys freaking lied to me. You know what they said?
"Most mercedes buyers can afford that 20-30(forgot how much it was exactly) difference monthly payment, and we are the no.1 dealer in the country, we can sell that car anyday if you don't want to take it, its already cheap, its your lost if you don't buy it now"
Jesus I was SO MAD I was like screw you guys I'm gonna tell all my friends not to buy from you and you know asians love to buy mercedes, now its YOUR LOST
That was my experience, no offense to anyone else who had a good experience with them maybe I just had bad luck.
WELL, good luck finding the car you want. I'm really enjoying my 2007 c230 now

come over to boston. i will sell you mine at a good price. you can keep the kenwood dnx7100 + oem deck and a set of snow wheels/tires...if you ever need them.

I bought mine at Penske Mercedes which is in west covina i think? well price and options I got was PMed to u. hope that'd help. good luck

I bet you could still find a new one, and have it transported to you for way cheap. Dealers were offering hella cheap deals on 07's.
I must've called 20 dealerships looking for an Orion Blue coupe like mine back in 02. I was on vacation and ended up in Carlsbad.
The guy says "has anyone looked on the COMPUTER(!) for you?".
Uh..."No". He finds the car, offers me a discount (something no one else would do) says he'll have it 2 weeks if put down a deposit..so I did..
got a cheap flight, salesman met me at the airport, drove me to the dealer, where they had it on showroom floor, and off I went for a coastal trip from San Diego to Santa Cruz...I can say now that I've driven all of Hwy. 1.
And oh, BTW, I nearly bought from FJ, but it more expensive and not exactly what I wanted, so had a buddy come...he told me fergit it, if isn't EXACTLY what you want...he was right!

Thank you for the info C230 Sport Coup. I'd LOVE to buy a new 07', but I just don't want to pay that much. I'm looking to pay out the door around 26K.
