What parts did they replace?
Post part #'s so I can see on EPC.
Also, PS, you don't list the year of your car....
And while I see you had the work done in the OC, (he he)
it really helps to have your location in your profile when
on the forum for down the line when you ask questions.

I posted on this previously...
also, search on "trademotion" and "mercedes" on google for various dealerships where you can punch in the pn's and get price, and order parts.
Currently I'm using Autobahn motors.

Here's a pic of the general area they were working in..
the pn for the whole pump didn't show a result on autobahn..
but you can get the EPC for free and look stuff up too.
So looks like they had to pull the tranny apart to get to the pump, and in the turn the seals...
yikes. # 20 is the first seal you list....
But 20 hours...geez. A professional mechanic with all the tools and lifts etc at their disposal, spent 2.5 days of non-stop work to do that?
I don't buy it.
Thats the kind of job that would probably take me 20 hours, but the dealer?

another 7 hours on Monday.....starting at 8am, 1 hour for lunch,
would mean they would be done at exactly 4pm and you picked the car up at 3:30.
And we know, they dont work Sunday.
Unless the dealer can bend the laws of time and space, you got f'd.

Now, their answer could be that more than one man worked on it, but how many mechanics are on duty on a Sat?
And they assigned 2 mechanics FT to your job?
Even then, thats 5x2=10 and we know Sunday is out, so Monday,
another 10 hours combined....not likely.
I would question exactly how they squeezed 20 hours of labor in over a holiday weekend, and how many techs were working.
Some quick math could easily expose their lies, based on how many jobs they turned out in that time vs. how many hours billed, but we already know the answer to that.
My guess is that an experienced mechanic should be able to remove the tranny in about an hour, especially at the dealer with all the coolest tools.
Tear into in it in another hour, rebuild the pump etc, install the tranny, fill, flush, then back in for no more than 8 hours total.
I mean, realistically, did they even have techs working on Sat.?
Or do people just drop cars off?
Most likely even if they started right away on Sat. they would get about 4 hours of work in, then maybe 4 on monday, button it up, and wait for you.
