Finally a warm enough day to detail the car (TONS O' PICS)
First time I've ever clayed a car.
The clay is really amazing - gets rid of all the specs of dirt on the lower body of the car which seem to be otherwise impossible to remove.
I used it on the hood and other areas that looked clean, it pulls so much junk out of the paint that the clay and all of the liquid lubricant used turns mud color (that's after giving the car a good washing and drying).
Not bad for a car with 18k "fleet vehicle" miles!

Acr, your car looks really fresh, better keep her in your garage at least for some time

I never really detailed my car in the last 8 months because of TONS of rockchips I have on my hood and front bumper..These rockchips really turned me off everytime I was going to detail my car.

The trick to showing such a glossy reflection seems to be getting the car and camera in the shade with the sun creating the reflections from an angle.
I'm going to try and get some shots at the beach this summer.... we'll see if I can beat those! That shot of the hood is REALLY good - what do you use? So far I think I'm gonna stick with Klasse all in one + their glaze

The hawks are a great quality. Good stopping power. I haven't seen dust build up so far and no squeak!
Didn't offend me! But while were on the topic....
Call me crazy but I never really saw the benefits in dropping the ride height on any car. I understand the idea is that its more aesthetically pleasing, but I don't think it's worth the loss of ground clearance (speed bumps, road debris, rock chips, and snow become more of an issue). I do agree that on my car for example the gap above the wheels would look better if it were dropped say an inch, but I think the difference it makes is WAY too small to be worth it.
Now when it comes to people who drop their cars all the way near the ground or have their wheels so tight that they tuck up into the fenders.... I think that looks like a clown car!!
