C230 2.3 Manual Coupe
C230 Coupe Repair Manual
Has anyone seen a repair manual for a C230 2.3 Coupe? I've searched everywhere, Amazon, Barnes and Noble for Chilton, Hayes and other book manuals and nothing comes out as if the car doesn't exist. It's getting old with 48K miles and I just want to have an idea of it's assembly in case something goes wrong. I'm still driving the original brakes.

Thanks but I was looking for a repair manual not a car manual. The dealer did all the work when it was under warranty. It's only been driven 4000 miles since service B was done over a year ago. Maybe I can just print out all the DIY info in here and make a book out of it.

link is for repair.Printed manuals went out in about the late 90's it is all on dvd now or online mbusa.com to order or startekinfo or the alldatadiy link.WIS diagrams,TSB's etc.

Has anyone seen a repair manual for a C230 2.3 Coupe? I've searched everywhere, Amazon, Barnes and Noble for Chilton, Hayes and other book manuals and nothing comes out as if the car doesn't exist. 2002 C230 Coupe
OK.I'm waaaaaay behind the power curve. Just bought the Chilton manual and am very disappointed. I've had my '02 Coupe for about 4.5 years and with of course,the sunroof problems. Don't drive it that much but,it's time for Regular and Preventative Maintenance. The first thing I noticed in this manual is 3000 mile oil changes. Which is per MB Owner's manual and ECU service timer "Jiffy"Lube BS. Not a whole lot of details there.

The factory DVD repair manual is the best one to get in my opinion. I have had this for about two years now and has saved me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in repairs or maintenance.
By using the manual and the online EPC for part numbers, you can shop for your parts online with trademotion and save.

Sorry, the number is 18004mercedes. 70 with ON shipping.
5000 miles is also excessive for oil changes.
Synthetic oil is designed to last a while, 10K is OK.
The FSS may say it's ok to go longer even.
If you're using MB approved oils, everything should be fine.
I was using non-approved synth oils for a whle, couldn't resist the $1 a quart price after rebate,
and replaced those at 7K and even had it tested once, and it was fine.

Also, take advantage of ebay, but be careful you get the right parts, lots of misinfo on ebay, and for your alternator, have it rebuilt by an electric shop every 100K miles or so. I got a new Supercharger for $600 on ebay.
Sold the old one for 250. Really gave my car a pick me up at 120k miles.
The DVD is a little hard to find stuff. It pays to just go through it, and see whats in it, print anything and everything to pdf files that looks interesting and name it accordingly since there's no bookmark feature for the DVD.

Nothing special about the external appearance of my engine.
Supercharger is not ported, just replaced with new at 120k.
Eaton designs them for 100K miles lifespan, though they can last longer or
less.
Just like to do things in advance of a catastrophic failure. Especially for $350 instead of $3500.
