while that may be a valid concern (i don't know because i don't have that lip), you may also want to look into getting your tires/wheels to fit with the coilovers and that low, tucked look.

my 19's rubbed my TEINs so i had to switch to a 225 tire with a 5mm spacer in order to get it to clear and ride low, but even at that, im at about the 4th thread from the bottom....and it just barely clears. the 17" oem sport rims did not clear and i had to raise it up to oem height so i could drive it until i got everything sorted out.

so its a delicate balance, you want it low so you can tuck and to do that, you will probably need spacers with those oem rims. on the other hand, you can't go out too far with spacer for a "tucked" situation or you will rub the inside of the fender liner on the outer side.

I think it'll be too low with lip and risking of messing up the lip when you have dip . I raised mine to no gap just to be on the safe side.
