06 c230 sunroof control replaced warranty
so i brought the car in since its under warranty and the sunroof was bouncing back. they replaced something and said that due to safety issues it will not auto close anymore! anyone heard of this? this sucks!

I had an '05 and the sunroof control module was changed. The little switch that controls it looks,and feels pretty weak to me. So my thinking is that they replaced the old module with a new module that has a redesigned switch and this is just some dum excuse.

mine did the same thing. it would almost close and open up. i tried to resync it like it said in the manual but that didnt work.
brought it in and they re-calibrated the sunroof obstruction sensor if i recall

I've noticed that if you slightly tap the button to close the sunroof it only goes so far before returning to its original open state. Although if held for MORE than a split second, it seems to work just fine. In other words, mine works with patience, you could say we have an understanding
