w203 Carbon fiber hood,..... kinda?
Has anyone every thought of putting high quality carbon fiber looking vinyl on the hood and then adding 2 layers of clear coat? My hood has so many dead bugs mashed into my hood that I have thought of repainting it , silver or black or carbon option. I saw advans do a vinyl lip on his rims , i bet I could pull it off on the hood. Not the whole hood of course but just the part in the picture.
Any thoughts?

i designed my pattern for my real CF hood if you wanted to see a live sample?

I am finally getting around to putting mine on the car, 6 months later
. I was going to get the two sides painted to match the paint like you did but your pattern looks ill..... p.s. Did you finish the HU install? or did you sit on it like I sat on the CF hood and interior trim... haha
