Cooling Fan does not stop
I took my car (2004 C230K) out of the garage to wash it and when I put it back in and switched it off the cooling fan was still working. I am sure that this was not in order to drop down engines temp because the engine did not run for more than 30secs. The fan was working even 15minutes later. Can anybody suggest what the problem is?
Thank you
Thank you

Ha, but likely on our cars, thats connected to the CANBUS and the ECU
decides.
But that would be the most likely culprit.
If you remove it, you can test it by using an ohmmeter, and a hot cup of tea,
though the tea may taste funny after you dip the sensor in it.

Try running the car and letting it cool again.
This problem happened ONCE on a Porsche of mine. I figured a stuck coolant thermostat switch. It drained the battery...
