Moosejaw's experience doing Rzrlp's brakes
I'm like okay, I think I remember when Ernie (o4blackc32) did mine for me.
ROb stops by by three, we loosen one wheel, jack it up, put a jack stand underneath. A lug breaks when removing it (this should have been the first indication of how things were going to go.
Wheel is off, I look at the brake and go into a brain freeze. Couldnt remember where to begin. All we were doing is swapping pads. I couldnt remember if I was to take the caliper off or not since we were only doing the pads.
I say to Rob, lets go online on MBworld for te DYI. A few phone calls to Rolly (C55asleep?) Found out we had to tap the pins out, which we did, no problem.
Got one pad out, couldnt get the other one out.
This is where things got screwed up. I told Rob go inside and depress the brake to get the piston to release. For some reason I thought it would be a smart idea, oh no it wasnt!
Piston had fully been depressed against the rotor. I just screwed Rzrlp's car.

Many desperate phone calls to Ernie, Rolly, and Tony(turbo 16lbs) went unanswered. I looked at this and i'm like "we re totally F*cked!" Ernie was in his boat when he returned our call. He was out in the middle of Biscayne Bay . I'll be there in 90 minutes (I should have know better bc Cuban Time means three hours) I was anxious for Ernie to show up and fix our problem.

I know Ernie can fix this, so I tell Rob lets grab someting to eat while we wait. I didnt finish my meal bc i was so depressed. Tony joins us and even ou waiter at Tony ROmas was making fun of my mechanic skillz.
In any event Ernie showed up, fixed our depressed piston and taught me how to do it right. Started at three, finished two front brakes at nine. I wanted to do it myself since I originally told Rob I could do it.
Thanks to everyone, including tony for his heckling. Rolly you too although you were enjoying your bbq. here are some pics! Sorry for he blurry ones they were at night.

Only six hours to change a set of pads? Thank goodness the air filter did not need to be changed, or a tail light was out, you could have pulled an all-nighter.
I am just kidding with ya, I have had things go from bad to worse too.

Thankfully it all came out ok.

What is "555" ?
With mad skills like that, you could run circles around the stealers.

But it's unlikely you need them.
They last a really long time.
I found that the calipers moved very easy, used my hands.
One on each side. Same as before you knock out the pins, and then back in,
with new pads.
Do one pad at a time, so you don't have to be pushing one, and have the other one popping out.
